🏦 Blackrock Sets New Record

Word On The Street: BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF has now surpassed $30 billion in assets under management, signaling robust demand for Bitcoin.

The details:

  • The global asset management giant achieved the $30 billion benchmark in less than 10 months, following the ETF's launch on January 10.

  • This $30 billion milestone is an "all-time record" for any ETF, highlighted by Bloomberg's senior ETF analyst, Eric Balchunas.

  • Currently, BlackRock holds over 417,000 Bitcoin, valued at around $30.4 billion based on current prices, according to recent data.

Why it matters: Total holdings across ETFs are approximately 996,000 BTC, with a strong likelihood of crossing the 1 million BTC threshold imminently.
